Orthodontic overlays are transparent splints that we put on our teeth. Changing the overlay every 2 weeks, we gradually move the teeth to the desired position. The entire treatment is planned by computer based on advanced calculations performed by specialized orthodontic software. Thanks to this, without the need for the classic “wires and locks”, we can turn crooked teeth into a perfectly simple and healthy smile.
The cost of treatment with orthodontic inserts, together with all follow-up visits, ranges from PLN 8000 to PLN 16000, depending on the stage and length of therapy. We assess this during the initial consultation. Importantly, all additional costs are included in this price.
Minor adjustments with orthodontic inserts take about 3 months, while more advanced cases require treatment for up to 12 months.
As with a classic appliance, we may experience slight discomfort in the initial phase of using a new orthodontic overlay. Over time, this feeling subsides.
If the teeth have a nice shape and are free of discoloration, then setting them in a perfect arch with orthodontic overlays will make the smile very aesthetic. After the treatment is completed, the patient receives a home whitening package from us at the price of the overlay therapy.
Depending on the individual treatment plan, follow-up visits are scheduled on average once a month. In special cases, if the patient is abroad, the inspection can take place via video call.
Ideally, orthodontic pads should be worn 22 hours a day, that is, removed only to brush your teeth and during meals.
